I think of coaching as the wake up call to get up and get moving in your personal and professional life. I believe that every individual matters and that you can make a difference in your life as well as the lives of others. I coach my clients with a special emphasis on waking them up to to their values and awareness.

The "Official" Bio

Amy Warshawsky is a Mentor and Leadership Coach, Mind-Body Expert and Founder of Feel Alive in Your Body. She has helped many high performing individuals and groups across a wide variety of industries — including advertising, automotive, biotech, finance, insurance, marketing, pharmaceutical and high tech— to strategize next steps in their professional and personal lives, transition with clarity and ease, and express themselves with resolve as they stand certain and strong in their beliefs. Her areas of specialty include leadership development, personal branding and executive presence, mindfulness and conflict resolution.

In the area of movement, Amy is a Black Belt Instructor of the Nia Technique and a Self Defense Instructor of the Jane Jitsu methodology. She brings a unique awareness and expertise of the mind-body connection to empower her clients and utilizes these tools in addition to more traditional coaching, neuroscience and psychology to enable personal transformation.

Amy has held numerous corporate, not-for-profit and coaching positions over the past 25 years, including those in major community events planning, marketing and public relations. In addition to working with private, corporate and group coaching clients, she is an Adjunct Professor at Bloomfield College in New Jersey, a Mentor Coach for the Kresser Institute, a virtual international functional health coaching program, and has led a pro-bono coaching initiative for the International Coach Federation Foundation. She is also a Board Member of the Hoboken Public Education Foundation.

Amy received a Masters in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelors of Arts from Cornell University, and is certified as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coach Federation, as a Co-Active Professional Certified Coach (CPCC) by the Co-Active Training Institute, as an ADAPT Certified Functional Health Coach (A-CFHC) by the Kresser Institute and as a as a Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches. She is a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and holds a Professional Certificate in Creativity, Imagination and Leadership from Lesley University’s Expressive Therapies Program in addition to training in Facilitative Leadership.

Amy is an avid traveler and lifelong learner, currently reading multiple books on all subjects pertaining to coaching methodologies, movement and personal growth. She has a husband of 30 years, three big kids, two cats, a bearded dragon  and lives in Hoboken, NJ.
