Amy Warshawsky is Coach and somatic specialist. She began her coaching career with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and has been a certified Health and Wellness Coach since 2011. Amy went on to study coaching with The Co-Active Training Institute to become a Certified Personal and Professional Co-Active Coach. Most recently, she received her certification in Health and Wellness Coaching through the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches.

In the area of movement, Amy has been a teacher, student and practitioner of the Nia Technique for nearly 10 years. She received her initial training in Nia in Boston, MA, nearly 12 years ago before moving to Tel Aviv, Israel, where she continued to teach, study and travel the world for ongoing training. She now teaches Nia in Hoboken, NJ, and surrounding areas. Amy is also trained in self defense as well as Wu Shu and Shaolin Kung Fu.

She holds a Masters in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelors of Arts from Cornell University. In addition to her Coaching Certification, she holds a Professional Certificate in Creativity, Imagination and Leadership from Lesley University’s Expressive Therapies Program. She is an avid lifelong learner and is currently reading multiple books on all subjects pertaining to coaching methodologies, movement and personal growth. She has a husband of 30 years, three big kids, two cats, a foster bearded dragon  and lives in Hoboken, NJ.
