"Academic Life Coaching adds to the field of Life Coaching additional tools

to help students identify styles of learning and thinking, cultivate talents and passions,

and gain skills and experiences to thrive in the future as fulfilled, effective adults."

IMPACT WITHIN REACH

I believe that every individual matters and can make a difference in their own life as well as the lives of others. I coach my clients to stand certain and strong in their values, beliefs and desires. Clients learn critical skills and tools that will increase their ability to function and will accompany them throughout their lives. As a movement specialist, I see coaching as the wake up call to get up and get moving in all aspects of life. I encourage my clients to practice deep awareness of their own potential and of the balance they seek.

My clients increase their awareness of themselves and the world around them, build decision making skills, and enhance their ability to communicate clearly and with resolve.

Seminars & Workshops

Participants learn to identify their styles of learning, motivation and thinking; cultivate their talents and passions; and gain confidence to thrive in the future as fulfilled, effective adults. They gain skills in communication, organizational systems, limiting beliefs, perspectives, values, designing their future, empathy, leadership and resilience.

Individual Coaching

Clients explore the challenges of studying, socializing and growing up. Build self esteem, belonging and self awareness through discussion and experiential learning. Clients own their personal values; celebrate their strengths; bring awareness to their body language; explore and manage their challenges; and celebrate their successes.

For Parents, Teachers & Those Who Guide Them

Learn to support youth and young adults by exploring values as parents and teachers. Empower clients to cultivate the skills that teach their children and students to be effective, fulfilled and independent people.

Girls' Empowerment (Winter/Spring 2017 & Fall 2017)

Each week, I meet with a group of teen girls, in grades 9 - 12, who are seeking empowerment and balance. With the use of coaching and movement skills, we explore the challenges of studying, socializing and growing up. We build self esteem, belonging and self awareness through discussion and experiential learning. Together, we learn to own our individual values; we celebrate our strengths; and we explore and manage our challenges. This class is co-created by the girls, a staff member of the high school and I so that their investment of time and presence is voluntary.

Nia Dance / Martial Arts Fusion (Fall & Winter/Spring 2017)

For their PE class experience, Stevens students step into whole-body, sustainable fitness with a fusion of dance, martial arts and healing. This upbeat and energetic 60-minute class promises to bring conditioning to every body part and muscle group. Set to music inspired by dance and world cultures, each class delivers four types of conditioning: aerobic, anaerobic, reflexive, and voluntary.
